Foundation established for cancer research

The Caroline Foundation seeks to raise much needed funds for The Cancer Clinical Research Trust (CCRT) devoted to furthering the development of new treatments for cancer under Professor John Crown at St. Vincent’s Hospital and also operating out of UCD and DCU, writes Brian Byrne.

The Foundation has been established in memory of your editor's niece, Caroline Hickey Dwyer, who died earlier this year far too young, after bravely fighting the disease for many years.
