Man arrested after golf clubs find

Quick response by An GardaA set of golf clubs was recovered after gardai responded to a call about intruders in Kilcullen in the early hours of this morning, writes Brian Byrne.

The clubs in their bag were found thrown in a hedge, possibly for later collection, by a unit from Naas Garda Station. They had been alerted by a resident who was woken by voices and a light in a nearby back garden.

A man was later arrested after being found hiding under a vehicle close to where the golf clubs were recovered.
