Mac & Norman's Vintage Rally next Sunday

Has raised major funding for cancer careThe 11th Mac & Norman's Vintage Rally will be held next Sunday, 18 August, writes Brian Byrne.

The event, in aid of the Irish Cancer Society, has raised a total of €314,579 for the charity since it was first run.

The route this year kicks off at Peter Sully's yard from 1pm and the participants will drive to Brannockstown, from there via Carnalway to the Kilcullen-Naas Road at Two Mile House, then back via Yellow Bog to The Stray Inn at Milemill.

A charity auction in connection with the event will take place at 5.30pm in the car park of the Stray Inn, following music throughout the afternoon.
