Jimmy's cancer care fundraiser

A great night promisedJimmy Aspell's Benefit Night for the Irish Cancer Society will be held this year on September 13, again in The Spout Bar, writes Brian Byrne.

Along with Jimmy's own musical contributions, there will be performances from Johnny Peters, Bernie Heaney, Tommy Lawlor, Kevin Bernes, Kevin Swayne, and Jimmy's daughter Leah.

Liam Kett from KFM will be MC for the night and there will be spot prizes and an auction.

A Pitch & Putt competition will be held in conjunction with the event, and sponsorship cards are available in The Spout.

It's a great cause, and always a great night. Pictured above at last year's event, which raised more than €4,300, are Jimmy with his son Neil, and his daughters Lisa, Michelle, and Leah.
