Dorly retires from Steiner School

Day of celebrationYesterday was a bitter-sweet one for the Kildare Steiner School at Gormanstown, writes Brian Byrne.

While there was the usual end of term festivities with class plays and bonfire, it was also Dorly O'Sullivan's last day there as a teacher.

That caused it to be termed 'Dorly's Day' and made it an occasion for former and current colleagues and students to express their appreciation for the work she has put into the school and its ethos over many years.

All agreed that her amazing energy and enthuasiasm were a constant presence in the school and she will be greatly missed. But it's hoped that they will still see Dorly as a friend and neighbour for many years to come.

Photos of the day are available on the school's Facebook page.
