Pauline taking part in Run Kildare

Pauline runs regularly around her home areaPauline Fagan is one of the Kilcullen people running the half-marathon in the Lidl Run Kildare taking place on 12 May.

The 13.1 miles run will start and finish at the Curragh Racecourse and take in a loop around the local area.

It will take in the beauty of the Curragh plains, pass by the famous stud farms and take runners through Kildare Town.

The participants will join up with those doing the full marathon course during the race and both races will continue the last part of the course together.

Those taking part include runners, joggers, walkers and wheelchair users.

There's also a 10k event. Registrations closed last Sunday.
