'Finish up' litter pick on Monday

After the very successful cleanup efforts around the soccer pitches last Tuesday evening, KCA is doing a 'finish-up' effort there on Monday night next, writes Brian Byrne.

A very large amount of cans, plastic and other debris was taken out of the hedgegrows on Tuesday, and sorted for collection by Kildare County Council.

The work was done by KCA members along with representatives from the Soccer Club and residents from nearby estates. A very welcome addition was the cleaning machine operated by Ger Coyne.
