The passing of Lil Delaney

The Diary has learned of the death of Lil Delaney, late of St Brigid's Avenue.

Lil will be reposing at her son, James, and daughter-in-law Anne's residence in Bishop Rogan Park from 4pm this afternoon. Her removal will take place on Friday at 11.30am to the Church of the Sacred Heart and St Brigid, arriving for 12 noon Mass. Her funeral will take place afterwards to New Abbey Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St Vincent's Hospital, Athy. There will be a donation box in the church for this purpose.

To her family we extend our sincere condolences. May she rest in peace.
