Beware bank 'phishing' scam

Just to let any readers who are customers of permanenttsb know that an email circulating about Open24 internet banking access being 'locked for security reasons' is a phishing scam.

Your suspicious editor confirmed with the bank a short time ago that the email is bogus, and designed to get access to customers' bank accounts.

Don't download the attached document. Don't fill anything in. Don't do anything except bin it.
