Ballymore Trad singing festival

The Ballymore Eustace Traditional Singing Festival will be held this weekend, starting with the opening session in Phil Murphy's on Friday night.

The opening event will feature singers from England, Scotland, Wales and Irish singing circles.

On Saturday, Phil Callery is presenting a talk on songs and the story behind them in the Parish Hall at 3pm and he will later host a singing session in Headons at 7.30pm. An open session for young singers takes place in Phil Murphy’s at 9.30pm.

On Sunday The Diggers close harmony group will host a singing session in Phil Murphys at 8pm while Headons will be the venue at 10pm with local singers.

Regular ad hoc sessions will entertain over the weekend in Headons pub and Mick Murphys pub.
