Sisters did the Lunar Walk

Pictured are Zita Dowling and her sister June Dowling who took part in the 30Km Dublin Lunar Walk for Diabetes Ireland on the night of 16 June.

To date over 700 people have taken to the moonlit streets of Dublin in aid of the Diabetes Ireland ‘Lunar Walk', collectively raising over €120,000 for Diabetes Ireland and walking an incredible 120,000 Km between them.

"I would like to draw the attention to this annual event and hopefully more locals would like to under the stars discover Dublin City at night," Zita told the Diary.
