The Star shines on Kilcullen

A reporter and photographer for The Star newspaper will be in Kilcullen today to prepare a feature on the town for a forthcoming issue, writes Brian Byrne.

It will be part of an ongoing series in the newspaper highlighting communities around Ireland which are doing positive things despite the doom and gloom of recession.

Triggered by the recent winning of Best Butcher Shop in the UK & Ireland by Nolans, the report will deal with a number of food aspects of Kilcullen, as well as sports wins and other community achievements.
