Ger Wolfe in the BAG

Tonight sees the welcome return to Ballymore of one of Cork's greatest musical exports, Ger Wolfe, writes Roy Thompson of the Ballymore Acoustic Gigs.

With a tender vocal—steeped in traditional and folk styles—singing lyrics that read like poetry, and with a distinctive fingerstyle guitar accompaniment, Ger Wolfe (dubbed 'The Lark of Mayfield' by John Spillane) is one of the greatest Irish songwriters of our time.
