Canoe Race tomorrow

The annual Kilcullen Canoe Club Race from Ballymore Eustace to Kilcullen takes place tomorrow, starting at 12pm.

The nine-mile event is the first ranking race of the season and is being organised under Irish Canoe Union regulations.

The river will be in flood for the race which involves a range of mens, womens and boys/girls competitions.

Entries will be taken up to 11.30am.
