Entertainment on Friday night

An evening of music, storytelling and drama is being held in the Town Hall Theatre on Friday, in aid of the Fr Matthias Truck Fund of the Christ The Healer AIDS/HIV Project in The Transkei, South Africa.

Organised by the Dunlavin Ladies Committee, the highlight of the evening will be a recital by the Naas Gospel Choir.

A seanachai will tell old Irish stories in the traditional style, and members of Kilcullen Drama Group will also perform 'Poets in Paradise'.

Admission is €15 and the event begins at 7.45pm, with a Cheese & Wine Reception.
