Tidy Towns assessment walk

Kilcullen Tidy Towns Group is holding a morning walk through the town on Saturday week, November 19, to assess what areas need attention for next year's national Tidy Towns Competition, writes Brian Byrne.

All are welcome to join the walk, which begins at 10am. The idea is that the main areas within the town boundaries will be covered.

The initiative comes after a discussion at tonight's KCA meeting, which concluded that there are a number of areas in which extra points can be won.
