Playground completion another month

Work on the new Community Playground in Kilcullen is now estimated to be finished in four weeks according to Kildare County Council.

This was confirmed by Senior Executive Parks Superintendent Simon Wallace, in answer to a query from Cllr Ivan Keatley at today's meeting of the Athy Area Committee.

He said once the work on the playground and the associated car park is completed to the Council's satisfaction and is safe to use, it will be opened.
