A rather cloudy start but mostly dry too. A few possible sunny breaks are possible this afternoon but and it will be quite mild too with highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees in light winds.

DID YOU KNOW?

The most distant point from land on the planet is at a place called Point Nemo in the Pacific. It is about 2,688km from the nearest land, equidistant from Ducie Island in the Pitcairns to the north, Motu Nui to the northeast, and Maher Island, Antarctica. The region is also known as the spacecraft cemetery, where many obsolete spacecraft are directed to crash, hopefully avoiding any populated area.

Good night at Table Quiz

There was a full house for a very enjoyable night's entertainment at the recent Town Table Quiz in Bardons in aid of the Summer Flowers Project.
