Good start to Flower Club season
The September session of the Kilcullen Flower and Garden Club was devoted to a talk and arranging demonstration by Sandra Finnegan of Naas.
There was a good turnout for the event, which got the autumn/winter off to a good start for the participants.
The next session, in Kilcullen Parish Centre, is on October 19, when Mary Keenan from Gash Gardens in Castletown, Co Laois, will give a talk on Winter Gardens. The November night will concentrate on Christmas themed demonstrations by the members, and a December 1 outing to the Botanic Gardens in Dublin is planned. Also in December, on the 7th, Helen Lucas will demonstrate Christmas floral decorations. New members are always welcome.
