What's on for the weekend

There's a plethora of activities and gig on in and around Kilcullen to make the weekend an active one for just about everybody.

Tonight, the annual Harvest Thanksgiving service takes place in Brannockstown Baptist Church, at 8pm. Always a pleasant hour of music and reflection, and very appropriate this year after a good harvest has been won.

On Sunday there are two attractions, the second Brannockstown Family Fun Cycle Rally kicking off from The Stray Inn in the afternoon, while the Vintage Rally organised by Halverstown NS takes place from the Community Centre, Kilcullen, starting at 11am.

And after 11 Mass on Sunday morning, the knitted representation of a stained glass window made by the Suas Knitting Club will be unveiled in the Parish Centre. Refreshments will be provided.
