Rose to start Kilomarathon

Current Rose of Tralee Charmain Kenny will start Ireland's first Kilomarathon in Moone next Sunday.

The 1.15pm start will be from Piers of Moone, following on from the 10k events at 12 noon.

The races are part of the Jim Roche Charity Road Race Festival, which will include entertainment throughout the day in Moone. Late entries for the Kilomarathon will be taken on the day,

Crumlin Childrens Hospital is the beneficiary of the festival this year.
