Road to be closed during festival

The road through Kilcullen will be closed to traffic from 12 noon until 6pm on Sunday 29 August, during the River Festival.

Diversion arrangements have been put in place, and the national bus services have been made aware that their usual route through the town won't be available.

The last time the town was closed off was during celebrations to mark the bypassing of the town in 1994.

Books of vouchers for the attractions, and for food and drink, are now on sale at various retail outlets around the town. A book of 12 of the €1 vouchers costs €10.
