Marinus holds second show
‘Therapeutics Unthinkable’ is the title of Kilcullen-based artist Marinus Meyer’s second solo exhibition, which is being held in Naas Community Library this week from July 6-16. The official opening is Thursday night, an occasion that promises chat, wine and snacks.
A South African by birth, Marinus came to Ireland eight years ago and rather fell for the place because it seemed to get his artistic juices flowing. He lives in Esker Lea.
His latest exhibition features a number of examples of his ‘Art for the Dark’, which are luminous acrylics combined with ‘black light’. Hard to describe, must be viewed.
