Summer flowers collection

Thanks to investment in infrastructure over the last few years, the cost for window boxes for Kilcullen's now familiar summer floral display has been reduced to €30.

The boxes are now in place and are already showing a summery look to the Main Street.

A street collection on 3 July will be held to raise funds for the effort, to augment donations from businesses and householders on the street itself.

A spokesperson for KCA noted that the displays are enjoyed by everyone who comes into the town for their business and leisure needs, and hopes those outside the immediate Main Street area will show their appreciation for the effort on the collection day.
