Maureen's students in 'Fame' final

Jessica Cervi and Ben Morris, who are in the finals of RTE's 'Fame, The Musical', are students coached by Maureen Ward of Calverstown.

Maureen, who runs the Talented Kids Performing Arts School and Agency based in Calverstown, is also Head of Musical Theatre at the Royal Irish academy of Music and at the College of Dance.

She teaches Ben and Jessica on a weekly basis, and during their 'Fame' journey they have regularly received extra coaching at Maureen's home in Calverstown.

"They are lovely kids, with huge talent and personality to match," she says. "They deserve to go all the way with this."

Sunday's final will be held at the Helix Theatre, and Maureen is hoping that her students will get the voting support from the viewing public on the night.

Meanwhile, Kilcullen's Ellen Gallagher is part of a group (below) from the Talented Kids school who have got into the Top 20 of the TV3 Glee Competition.

Ellen is a contemporary dancer in the group, which is performing a song about going for your goals called 'I Believe'.
