Eddie Relihan retires

Sergeant Eddie Relihan is retiring after being in charge of Kilcullen's Garda Station since July 2005.

A party in will be held in Bardons on Thursday night to mark his retirement.

Prior to coming to Kilcullen, Sgt Relihan served in Kildare town. He replaced Sgt Tom Duffy, who served as a member of the force in Kilcullen for 34 years.
