WEATHER

Rain will clear eastwards through the morning, with some bright or sunny spells and scattered showers following. A few of the showers may be heavy. Rather windy or breezy for a time this morning, with moderate to fresh southerly winds, veering southwesterly and decreasing light later. Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees. Tonight will bring a mix of clear spells and some well scattered showers.

EARPHONES FOUND

A set of earphones were handed into Kilcullen Garda Station. Found 24 April 2024 at the Canal at Herbertstown-Old Mill, Kilcullen. Owner can contact Kilcullen Garda Station for collection 045 481212.

Continuing the Christmas theme, your Editor came across this life-sized 'crib' in a civic square in Barcelona yesterday.

Wouldn't it be nice if we tried this in Kilcullen next year?
