Busy Sunnyhill!

It's maybe a piece of useless information, but did you know that the morning traffic on the Sunnyhill Road is at the rate of over 700 vehicles an hour?



That's my own observations from walking it at commuting time, and it certainly gets uncomfortable as a walking road. Most of the traffic is heading towards the Newbridge Road from the Athy Road, and it maybe makes a strong case that a link directly from the Kilcullen Bypass M9 motorway to the Newbridge/Curragh area is of urgent necesssity.

It is a level of traffic that certainly couldn't be managed by the proposed/much delayed link road from Knockbounce to Pinkeen.
