KCA meetings still public

The fact that Kilcullen Community Action is now a limited company won't make any difference to the regular meetings, the first meeting of 2008 was told.

Chairman Kieron Forde said that they will still be completely open to the public as usual.

After what he described as 'many years' of trying to set up the company, Kilcullen Community Action is now a company limited by guarantee, with seven directors, he said.

There was some further discussion on the matter, including appointment of auditors and other details of the statutory requirements of an incorporated company.
