Easter busy busy Kilcullen

Kilcullen was a busy place this week with a number of business related things going on.



Martin Myles is turning the front part of the Hideout lounge into a dedicated Coffee Shop, aimed at providing a place for customers who don't particularly want to be in a pub ambience during the day.



The finishing touches are being put to a new shop beside the bank which will sell mainly women's and children's shoes, and handbags, and some men's shoes. Under the trading name of Ruby Shoes, and owned by Ollie and Michelle Kirwan from Osberstown, it opens on Tuesday.



And the surveyers were out at the entrance to what will be a housing and retail development at the back of Hillcrest.

All in all, as Easter lights up the anticipation of summer, Kilcullen is still on the move.
