Planter 'brought to party'

When one of the decorative planters on Hillside disappeared in the early hours of a recent Sunday morning, gardai found it later in a house nearby.

"Sergeant Kinneavy located it in the living room of the house, where it had been dragged by some people having a party," Ray Kelly told tonight's meeting of KCA.

He said that three people who brought it back, on the garda's instructions, told him they hadn't taken it themselves. "One said he'd woken up at 11 in the morning and found it in the sitting room."

KCA is to send a bill to the perpetrators for the difficulties caused.
