Hillcrest wants finishing

The fact that parts of Hillcrest estate have not been finished three years after the houses were completed was one of the key issues raised at a meeting of residents last Thursday night.

He also told the Diary that many people were worried about safety at the exit from the estate, at the Hillcrest Court shops.

"There seems to be a lack of enforcement about motorists who still stop right outside the shop on the main road, making it difficult and dangerous for people trying to drive out onto the road. There have already been a number of accidents there."

Some individual residents complained about common problems in their houses which needed attention.

A new committee was formed, as the original committee of two years ago was depleted when a number of members left Kilcullen.
