Floral standard needs replacing

Kildare County Council is to be asked to repair the floral standard on the bridge which was damaged during the recent storm and was then torn out by vandals.

The standard had been loose from the beginning, a recent Kilcullen Community Action meeting heard.

It was also noted that two warning cones which had been placed at the hole in the footpath where the standard had been placed had disappeared, one found later thrown into the field at An Tearmann.
