A Valley brew?

On July 31 a team of canny entrepreneurs unveiled Greenland Beer, an ale brewed with water melted from Greenland's ice cap, at a public tasting in Copenhagen, Denmark.

spout0129The foregoing report from The National Geographic news service has nothing to do with Kilcullen directly, but it prompts us to wonder if we could emulate the idea using water from The Spout in the Valley?

Seems a pity that the spring which was the water supply for the town for generations should today just be flowing away into the Liffey.

'Kilcullen Valley Pils' has a ring to it.
