Kilcullen Seniors through to last eight

Kilcullen GAA supporters are celebrating the fact that the Club’s Senior Team has qualified for the Quarter Final stage of the 2006 County Senior Football Championship.

The Rags faced Athy this evening at St Conleth’s park, Newbridge, in their last game in the group stage. The Kilcullen side turned in a gutsy performance to run out winners in a hard fought contest on a scoreline of 1–7 to 0–8.

This win means that Kilcullen and Round Towers advance from Group D at the expense of Sarsfields and Athy. Congratulations to all involved both on and off the field.
