Another purple viewpoint

Dear Brian,

Just in response to your article about colour schemes in the town. There are a lot of people living and working in the area that would feel completely the opposite to you.

towncolour001Not to say that the town needs to be turned into the Legoland of Kildare, but certainly a couple of buildings with bright colours would do much to modernise the whole town, and bring it into the 21st century.

While Nolans' new building seems to err on the side of caution with their colour scheme, a bit of pastel colours similar to the ones for the chemist, in my opinion, would add a bit of atmosphere to the place and can blend in well with the splendid bridge refit and the upcoming developments in the town

Regards as always,

Pat Mooney.

ED NOTE: That's good. A bit of discussion. Any more views?
