So it really was a UFO ...

Well, it seems that James Healy wasn't the only one seeing things in the middle of the night last week, when he reported and provided pictures of strange lights in the sky over Kilcullen on his Heelers Diaries website.



Although he didn't have much success in getting international and local media to take him seriously, the lights in V formation were also seen by people in Naas, Athy and Carlow.

The Kildare Post gives the matter lead story and editorial attention, but our James isn't mentioned, though he was probably the first -- and so far the only -- person to actually publish pictures of the 'UFO'.

And by the way, it really WAS a UFO ... as the acronym stands for 'unidentified flying object', and these lights certainly are, so far, unidentified. Doesn't mean that they're alien space ships or anything like that.

Though it doesn't mean they're NOT either ...
