Planning application lodged

Adrian Dunne has lodged a planning application for the Main Street property which he recently acquired.



The project includes demolishing the existing street frontage property and the access arch, and replacing it with a building which will include a retail shop at street level and a medical centre above.

The application also proposes a residential development to the rear involving a two-storey apartment building with eight two-bedroom units and associated car parking.

Meanwhile, the work on the former Moloneys property beside the entrance to The Valley is proceeding apace, and has reached the stage of floor completion and initial shelving installation.

The property was bought by Naas-based Burkes Chemists, who currently have a pharmacy operation in Kilcullen at the Hillcrest development.
