Nolans refurbishing

Nolans Butchers stall premises will be closing shortly for refurbishment.

The shop is being redeveloped to suit better the needs of a growing Kilcullen, and while the refurbishment is going on, the business will operate from a temporary premises 20 metres down the hill, which is currently being prepared.

Planning permission for the work, which includes change of use of the existing ground floor meat processing area to retail and the provision of a first floor administration/storage area.

The work is expected to be completed by November.

The existing facade has been in place since around 1990.

Nolans of Kilcullen is a fourth generation family business, established since 1886. The business has its own two farms and a fully licensed, EU approved abattoir supplying beef and lamb to the retail outlet. It also serves the wholesale market.
