Aircraft manufacturer Airbus is hoping to have a vehicle on Mars in 2028, in the form of a rover designed to autonomously collect samples on alien planets. Two of its ExoMars rovers are being field-tested in a quarry near London.

Brannockstown flowers up

There were riots in Brannockstown last evening. Riots of colour.

Many hands made light work of the planting for the roadside beds, hanging baskets and decorative tubs as the community got behind the annual Tidy Towns effort.
