Kilcullen Diary

CAT FOUND

A small, very friendly white cat with some tabby markings was found at the Community Centre last night. It has been picked up for its safety and will be handed into the KWWSPCA this morning (Tuesday).

WEATHER

Mostly cloudy with isolated light showers in the morning but they will fade away. Dry with sunny spells for the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees in moderate northerly winds.

DID YOU KNOW?

Japanese scientists have unveiled a satellite made of wood which they intend to launch into space, to test the resilience of the material in space conditions, and possibly show the way to the use of more sustainable and less polluting materials in space programmes.
