Dear Brian,

I was born and raised in Kilcullen. My parents are Jim and Ethna Dempsey of Old Kilcullen. I have lived in America for 18 years now, the last 11 in Boise, Idaho.

I love Boise simply because it offers a large comparison to Ireland in the areas of greenery, hills, fishing, and, of course, the famous Boise potato.

Both my husband and I read the Diary regularly.
