Orange bins are ONLY for Re-turn
Kilcullen GAA have said they appreciate those who put their Re-turn tagged plastic bottles and cans in the special orange bins provided at the clubhouse, writes Brian Byrne. But they want to remind others that the bins are ONLY for that purpose.
The two bins are another way for the club to bring in funds, and are managed by volunteers who empty them and bring the contents to Re-turn machines for the refunds.
However, some people are putting dog-poo bags and other rubbish in the bins, as well as oil and juice bottles that don't have the Re-turn logo, all of which can contaminate the proper contents. They're asking people to NOT do that.
The club also accepts pre-bagged cans and bottles appropriate for Re-turn which can be dropped off.
