More visiting students at CPC

Another group of exchange students are visiting Cross and Passion College, writes Brian Byrne, this time from St Ursula-Schule, Geisenheim, Germany. The students are here under the Erasmus+ programme, which CPC joined last year.

The visiting young people are staying with host families in Kilcullen, and during the week at CPC are partnering with Irish students on a Healthy Lifestyles project.

Part of that will include participation in PE classes and exchanging ideas on nutritious meals, sustainable food choices, as well as  traditional Irish and German cuisine.

The group also had a tour of Dublin which included a visit to Croke Park to learn about Irish national sports.

This is the latest in a number of exchange visits in both directions which have brought both students and teachers together from partner schools, in Belgium, France and Germany. as well as having CPC students take part in a Model United Nations event in Namur, Belgium.
