Bookbinding workshops at Woodbine

Bookbinding workshops will be hosted in Woodbine Books on August 11th and 25th. 

The first one is based on the Coptic Stitch technique which uses a single needle and thread and allows a book to open completely flat. It reflects a method used by early Christians in Egypt, the Copts, and used from as early as the 2nd century AD to the 11th century. The all-day event will run from 10am-5pm and the fee is €98.  Bookings can be made here. 

The one on 25 August will demonstrate the Chain Stitch with closure and will run for the morning, from 10am-12.30pm. The cost is €59, with booking here.
