Titanic Belfast, a fascinating time capsule

There’s a strong pull in the Irish psyche about the Titanic, writes Brian Byrne. Partly because it was built on our island, and left on its maiden voyage from our southernmost city with some of the world’s greatest and Ireland’s poorest on board. Maybe too, it fulfills something in our keenly honed sense of tragedy.

Wearing one of my other hats as a travel writer, I recently visited Titanic Belfast, and this piece might be of interest to some Diary readers.
