Steiner School plants trees

Parents, teachers, pupils and friends of the Kildare Steiner School took part in a tree-planting day on Saturday last.

More than 700 trees were planted, some of them donated by Coillte. A number of apple trees were donated by Seedsavers.

Among the trees was a mature one planted in honour of the late Gunther Petters, who had a long relationship with the school.
