Double birthday barbecue

Martin Myles hosted a barbecue in The Hideout on Saturday night to celebrate both his birthday and that of Mareid Lynch. The Diary is not in the business of revealing ages, but each wore a sticker saying '21', so work it out for yourself!



It was a real great affair, with a specially-built area out in the rear to manage the cooking, and Martin spent the evening toiling over broiling meats -- no mean thing considering he is a vegetarian himself.

His 'devil' accoutrements were very apt, because it was a hot place to be.

There was a great turnout of 'old' and 'new' Kilcullenites for the celebration, with the best of 'Kelly Music' keeping everybody happy as they munched or waited to munch.
