Special meeting on town improvements

Kilcullen Community Action is hosting a special public meeting in the Town Hall on Tuesday next to discuss how a Department of Environment allocation for Kilcullen town improvements might be spent.

The Kildare County Council engineer with responsibility for Kilcullen has recently confirmed that the money is in place, and that the Council wants the community to be involved in the project, which will particularly involve work on the bridge.

The meeting will start at 8.30pm and everybody with an interest is welcome to attend and make an input. All suggestions will be passed on to the Council.

The money was allocated in tandem with the Town Renewal Scheme some years ago.
