A dry day with plenty of sunshine. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees, in light variable breezes. Dry tonight with mostly clear skies.

Smaller than a euro 10-cent coin, the transparent fish Danionella cerebrum has had the male's mating call underwater recorded at 140 decibels, equivalently as loud as an exploding firework. This possibly makes it the world's loudest animal by weight.

PARISH LOTTO

The Kilcullen & Gormanstown Parish Lotto Draw is held at 8pm each Tuesday in the Parish Centre. This is a public event to which all are welcome. There's a prize draw each night for those attending. Details of previous Draws are here.
